Chocolademelkpoeder

Mushroom Hot Chocolate

Materials Needed:

Step 1:

Make the mix by mixing all the ingredients together in a bowl and then storing in a mason jar. You can leave any ingredients out that you don’t want to use. My kids love this recipe!

Step 2:

Warm up 1 cup of milk or water and add 1 Tablespoon of the mix to the liquid. Stir, froth or blend to luscious perfection. Add your sweetener of choice, sip, and enjoy the healing power of this delicious, hot chocolate with zero guilt!

Chocolademousse

Ingredients:
3 medium avocados;
¼ cup raw honey;
¼ cup and 2 tbsp cocoa powder;
3 tbsp almond butter;
1 tsp lemon juice;
1 tsp ground cinnamon;
1 tsp ground nutmeg;
½ tsp flavored extract (mint, coffee, almond, hazelnut), optional;

Preparation:
When I said that this is easy to prepare, I really meant it. All you have to do is to throw everything into one big mixing bowl and use a stand mixer or a hand mixer to blend it all together. Of course, you can also use a blender or a food processor to to this job. I let mine blend until completely smooth and it was ready to eat right then and there. Place the leftovers in the refrigerator.

Chocolade granola

Ingredients:
1 cup walnuts;
1 cup almonds;
pinch of salt;
1/4 cup raw honey;
3 tbsp butter or clarified butter;
3 tbsp cocoa powder;
1/2 tsp vanilla extract;
1/2 cup shredded coconut;
2 oz dark chocolate;

Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 200 F.
Using a food processor, coarsely chop the walnuts and almonds. Nothing too fine, as you will have to put them through the food processor again. Leave the nuts in the processor and set aside for later use.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter with the honey and whisk occasionally. Once combined, add the cocoa powder, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Whisk together.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the nuts in the food processor. Pulse briefly, just until the chocolate is consistently mixed in. Add the coconut and pulse one more time.
Spread the mixture out over a baking sheet. Bake for 4 hours in the preheated oven.
Once the granola has finished baking, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely. Break the granola apart into small chunks. Also break apart the 2 oz chocolate and mix in with the granola.
